The Finally

Welcome to the finally of this segment, I hope everyone is enjoying the continually warming North Dakota weather, as we are finally almost to the end of the ever lasting winter of 2023. Today is going to be the final post I share on this blog as the semester comes to a close, I will no longer be making regular posts on this platform. As for this final post I would like to share my experiences I have gained through writing this segment, as well as how it has benefited me and helped my widen my horizons. 

Overall I'm glad I was given the opportunity to have a space to share my ideas, and talk about what ever I felt like. I wasn't always in the mood to sit down and write, but once I got myself doing it, it was never as bad as I made it seem in my head, in fact it was never bad at all. When I fully put my mind to it I was always able to dissect topics that I found interesting and give an analysis of those topics, as well in some cases give my opinion. There was a lot of freedom in this assignment which I loved, I had a space to talk about things that I wanted to talk about, and things that apply to my life specifically. Many writing assignments in schools are so tightly restricted that you get little to no creative freedom, and when you do its for things you don't care about. 

From this assignment I've gained skills in areas such as doing research, writing for an audience, and it's helped me formulate thoughts and develop opinions on certain subjects. I truly do feel that as the semester has gone on I have improved the quality of writing, as well as the interest level of my topics. My last few blog posts were much more thought out and on topic with things I wanted to talk about. It is amazing the development you can see in your skills in such a short period of time. I am completely blown away by the fact that it has already been three months since my first post on this page, the time truly does pass by too fast, which brings to mind another great blog post idea, but that will be for a later time. 

As I continue on into the big world and pursue a professional career in the finance industry these blog posts will have been a useful tool in developing my skills, I've been able to formulate ideas and write them down and share them. Being able to do research and find facts to include in you writing is an important skill that is needed no matter what your job is. I will also continue to grow mentally form this experience. It has given me the ability to be more in contact with my thoughts and be more thoughtful to those around me. As summer begins I will look back on all the growth I've had from the past school year and be proud of everything I have accomplished and how I have grown.

Overall this assignment has been beneficial in numerous ways and I am glad it is something I had the opportunity to take part in. Writing a blog has been a unique experience that I never would have thought that I would have enjoyed, but here we are, so I strongly encourage anyone who has thought about starting a blog to give it a try. This is the final goodbye, so I hope everyone has an excellent summer, and finishes out the semester strong. There is a possibility that I continue to upload occasionally on this page, but for the mean time this is the end.
